Michael Jahrig captains the F/V Cherokee and fishes for salmon in Cook Inlet. Michael has a true passion for the ocean, and in the off season he continues his adventures captaining for the Alaska Marine Highway system. Michael is among our top producers of Standard dressed salmon and is well known throughout our fleet for his ability with a dressing knife. We always say, if you want it done right, Michael Jahrig has to do it. If he's not available, you have to do it yourself!
